The Scottish Flood Resilience conference was proud to support Flood Re and the Scottish Flood Forum to launch Flo, the Scottish Flood Bus in 2025. We were also delighted to involve Flood Re properly in the conference for the first time, working with them via a sponsorship package, so it is with enormous pleasure that we can announce that they are our first sponsor for the 2026 conference, taking out a Platinum sponsorship package!

Here’s a little bit about Flood Re:

Flood Re is a joint initiative between the Government and the insurance industry that exists to promote the affordability and availability of flood insurance for homes across the UK. Insurers can place the flood risk element of domestic property insurance with the Scheme at a premium linked to property Council Tax bands. Flood Re sits in the background, with the purchase of the policy and the process of making a claim being unchanged.

As of April 2022, we launched Build Back Better which is designed to reduce the cost and impact of future floods by including property resilience measures as part of flood repairs.
