Policy insights

Policies for building resilience to climate change must be informed by scientific evidence and lived experience so they meet the needs of those impacted. Our network of relationships across Scotland from community groups to national government means we make connections leading to impactful policy change.
Why is it important?
Climate change has the greatest impact on those most disadvantaged and marginalised in society. Policies developed to address this impact without an understanding of people’s needs will not work.

Our approach
We ensure that a range of voices feed into policy by bringing together communities, researchers, practitioners, local authorities, and those in power so that a just and fair approach can be developed.
