Online Launch: Highland Climate Change Risk & Opportunity Assessment (HCCROA)

Verture is pleased to support the official launch of the Highland Climate Change Risk & Opportunity Assessment (HCCROA), a major milestone for climate resilience across the Highland region. We invite you to join Highland Adapts for an online presentation of the assessment’s findings, methodology, and case studies, followed by a Q&A session.
About the Highland Climate Change Risk & Opportunity Assessment
The HCCROA is the first regional assessment of climate change impacts across the Highlands. It examines both current and projected risks through to the 2080s, providing a robust evidence base to inform planning, investment, and collaborative action.
The assessment explores risks and opportunities across five themes:
• Built environment
• Community and economy
• Health and wellbeing
• Infrastructure
• Land, nature, and food
This work has been developed by the Highland Adapts partnership, with contributions from Joseph Perry Consulting, Verture, partner organisations, and regional and national stakeholders. It has been partially funded by the Scottish Government’s Climate Ready Regions grant.
Following the launch, the full HCCROA will be available at highlandadapts.scot.
