Scotland’s Flood Resilience Conference 2026 – 27 & 28 January

Scotland’s Flood Resilience Conference 2026

Tuesday 28 – Wednesday 29 January 2026

Dynamic Earth, Holyrood Rd, Edinburgh EH8 8AS

The annual Scottish Flood Resilience Conference will be held at Dynamic Earth on 27 and 28 January 2026. The aim of the conference is to review progress and identify further actions needed for implementing Scotland’s flood resilience strategy. Key themes will be:

  • community engagement and coastal change
  • embedding flood resilience in placemaking and collaborative working

Across both themes we are looking to see examples of social and technical innovation and good practice and are looking for speakers and projects to inspire and inform our audience.

If you would like to register your interest in presenting at the conference, we invite you to set out your proposal for either a 20 min presentation or a workshop/breakout session in the form here.

The deadline for submitting proposals for contributions is Thursday 4th September 2025.

Whilst our focus is on Scotland we are keen to learn from other places where this is relevant for Scotland.

We are also pleased to announce that opportunities for sponsoring the conference are also now available. The sponsorship prospectus can be found below.

Tickets will be on-sale from September 2025, please keep an eye out on the Flood Resilience pages on our website, our newsletter and LinkedIn.
