Why Verture Is Stepping Back from X 

At Verture, our work is rooted in climate action, collaboration, and the belief that meaningful change comes from aligning our actions with our values. That’s why we’ve made the decision to step back from X (formerly Twitter). 

This isn’t just about social media—it’s about being intentional with where we invest our time and energy. Digital spaces shape the conversations we have, the narratives we amplify, and the communities we build. As a purpose-driven organisation, it’s important that our online presence supports, rather than detracts from, our mission. 

The Decision to Step Back 

Social media has the power to connect, educate, and inspire action. But it also influences public trust in science, the spread of misinformation, and the tone of climate discussions. Over time, we’ve found that X is no longer the right space for the kind of engagement we want to foster. 

We are choosing to focus on platforms that: 

• Encourage meaningful discussions about climate action and solutions. 
• Support long-form insights and knowledge-sharing. 
• Provide a constructive and collaborative environment for progress.

What This Means Moving Forward 

While we won’t be posting on X anymore, we’re not disappearing. Our conversations and updates will continue on platforms that enable deeper engagement, and we welcome discussion about the role of social media in climate action.
