Just Resilience: Our 2026 -31 strategy

This strategy sets out what we want to achieve over the next five years and how we’ll work to strengthen climate resilience across Scotland and the UK. It explains the thinking behind our approach, the principles that guide us, and the practical steps we’ll take as the UK’s only charity focused solely on climate resilience.
Climate change is already shaping daily life, and its impacts will become more frequent and more disruptive in the years ahead. Our response is built on urgency, fairness and hope. We put justice at the centre of our work because the people already facing inequality are the ones hit hardest by climate impacts. For us, building resilience has to go hand in hand with building fairness.
The strategy also outlines how we’ll work with communities, partners and decision‑makers to make climate resilience part of everyday life. This isn’t about short‑term projects. It’s about long-lasting change rooted in lived experience, shared learning and strong relationships.
Looking ahead collaboration will be essential.
If you share our vision for a fair and resilient future, we’d love to connect.
